This quaint little holiday cottage is situated just off the estuary and makes a perfect hideaway. The property has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Situated close to Dylan Thomas’s former home – the iconic Boathouse – it is one of the most famous views in Wales; then there’s the poet’s restored writing shed overlooking the stunning Taf Estuary, and his favourite watering hole, the Brown’s Hotel. There’s so much more to Laugharne than the resting place of the English-language poet from Wales. But ’the strangest town in Wales’ (as Dylan famously called it), is a mecca for walkers, birdwatchers and fishermen as well as artists, writers, poets and painters. Laugharne’s imposing castle overlooks the estuary, Carmarthen Bay and beyond. Just a stone’s throw away from the Pembrokeshire border, guests can explore the spectacular coastline and discover the picturesque harbour towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot, which are rich with seafood restaurants, golden beaches and thrilling leisure attractions, including Oakwood, Manor House Zoo and Heatherton. Horse riding nearby. Ideal for golfers. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Ground floor: 1 double bedroom. Shower room with toilet. Open tread stairs to first floor: Living/dining room/kitchen.

Elec heaters, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Freeview TV. DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. Washer/dryer. Wi-fi. Car park 50 yards. Welcome pack. No smoking.
