Visit Corwen with the historic Llangar Old Church, Rug Chapel and curry house that won best in Wales, or Llangollen, home of both the International Musical Eisteddfod and Llangollen Steam Railway. Ruthin is where you can visit the magnificently restored Nantclwyd Y Dre town house, or explore Betws-y-Coed, gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, with its bustling shops and leafy forest walks. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is well worth a visit as well Chirk Castle (NT), the Horse Drawn Boats and Canal Exhibition Centre and the Chwarel Wynne Mine. Shop/PO and pub serving food within a few hundred yards. A welcome bottle of wine is provided for guests upon arrival. Maesteg can be booked with B6861 to sleep a total of 14 guests.
